Police were patrolling the Murray Valley Highway about 12.35pm when they observed a car travelling at 151km/h in a 100km/h zone.
Members spoke to the driver, a 35-year-old Strathmerton man, who underwent a preliminary breath test.
He was taken to a local station for an evidentiary test where he returned an alleged reading of 0.110%.
