As part of our commitment to the safety of schoolchildren, Knox Council and School Crossings Victoria are inviting nominations for Supervisor of the Year 2025/2026.
School Crossings Victoria, a group of Council representatives and other interested parties, established these awards in 2010. They aim to recognise the contribution and dedication of school crossing supervisors throughout Victoria.
Council has about 110 supervisors at 100 school crossings in Knox, working hard to keep children safe on their school journeys.
Winners will be selected from seven regions across Victoria before a state winner is named.
Last year, Ian Hook from Maroondah City Council was named Supervisor of the Year.
Parents, residents and school staff are invited to nominate a school crossing supervisor by Thursday 30 April.
Winners will be announced at an awards night on Friday 10 July.
For more information, visit the School Crossings Victoria website at schoolcrossingsvictoria.com.au and complete an online nomination.
