To acknowledge Scams Awareness Week (24 – 28 August) we will be hosting a series of free events right across August.
With Australians losing more than $2 billion to scams in 2024, building community awareness and resilience has never been more important.
Sessions are designed to help the community recognise, avoid and report scams so participants can better:
Identify common scams,
Spot warning signs and
Take preventative steps

Presented in Mandarin, Senior Constable and Multicultural Liaison Officer, Ding Cai will discuss the different kinds of scams, how to recognise them and how to keep your identity and information secure online.
