Stratham Serious Crash

Bunbury Police are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Stratham, between Bunbury and Capel, on Thursday 25 January 2024.
About 4:40pm, a white Mitsubishi truck was being driven south on Bussell Highway. At the same time, a grey Volkswagen Tiguan SUV was also being driven south on the same road.
The two vehicles collided with each other, causing them both to leave the road. The truck struck a tree, while the Volkswagen struck several trees and fence bollards, before striking a concrete drain pipe.
The 49-year-old male driver of the truck received a serious leg injury in the crash.
The 78-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen received minor injuries to both his legs. His 76-year-old female passenger received an arm injury.
