Strike Force Vulcan officers are currently investigating a deliberately lit bushfire on Bayside Boulevard, Port Kennedy on Tuesday 24 March 2020.
Around 1.35pm, Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) and Police were called to the fire which burnt through 3 hectares of bushland before it was extinguished.
Anyone with information regarding this fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
