Residents Improving Secondary Education (RISE) North is a community-led organisation wanting to improve public secondary school outcomes in the north of the Moreland local government area.

That's why a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will work with the Department of Education to prepare an Education Plan for Moreland North to identify the issues that need to be addressed and targeted with investment to improve learning outcomes at local secondary schools.

Shadow Minister for Education, David Hodgett, said parents need the confidence and assurance their children will receive a quality education and learning experience.

"Only a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will back local families and students in Moreland by delivering this Education Plan."

Liberal Candidate for Pascoe Vale, Tom Wright, said the Andrews Labor Government had taken the Pascoe Vale community for granted.

"I've been speaking with many new families who have moved into this area and they are worried about declining enrolments and a lack of a long term plan from the government."

"Labor has ignored these schools, with no significant investment in John Fawkner College at all. The Liberals and Nationals are committed to improving local enrolments and providing students the very best quality education and facilities."

Liberal Candidate for Broadmeadows, Baris Duzova, said only the Liberals and Nationals have a plan to turn the educational outcomes around.

"The lack of investment and cohesive education strategy for John Fawkner College, Glenroy College and Pascoe Vale Girls has been the reason behind declining enrolments."

"I'm proud to be part of a team that listens to the community and is committed to a plan to improve enrolment and educational outcomes in Moreland."
