Suspicious fires on Adelaide Plains

Police are investigating a series of fires on the Adelaide Plains this afternoon.

About 4.20pm on Friday 24 February, police and fire crews were called to Port Gawler Road near old Port Wakefield Road at Two Wells after reports of a grass fire burning in a vineyard.

CFS crews quickly brought the fire under control.

Detectives from Barossa CIB and Crime Scene Investigators have attended the scene.

Early indication is that the fire may have been deliberately lit.

Police are investigating if the Two Wells fire is linked to other grass fires at Lower Light and Dublin which occurred later this afternoon.
