Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a woman over an alleged conspiracy to murder a high-profile member of an Organised Crime Network (OCN).
About 2.25pm (Saturday 11 April 2026), officers attached to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad attempted to stop an allegedly stolen Audi on the Great Western Highway, Wentworthville.
When the driver allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.
During the pursuit the occupants of the vehicle were seen allegedly throwing jerry cans from the vehicle onto the M4 Motorway, near Silverwater.
The vehicle stopped after it was rammed by Raptor Squad – with assistance from Cumberland Police Area Command and Traffic and Highway Patrol Command – along Hill Road, Lidcombe, after which the three men ran from the vehicle.
Police – with the assistance from officers attached to PolAir, Dog Squad and Auburn Police Area Command – arrested all three men nearby after a foot pursuit.
The three men – one aged 28 and two aged 24 – were charged and remain before the courts.
During a search of the Audi, Raptor Squad officers allegedly located a semi-automatic rifle, a pistol, and cloned number plates.
The firearms, the vehicle – reportedly stolen from an Edmonson Park address in March 2026 – and the plates were all seized for forensic examination.
As inquiries continued, detectives established a link between the vehicle and plates, to four public place shootings in Colyton, St Johns Park and Panania earlier this year, investigated under Strike Force Subbard.
Following extensive inquiries, about 6am yesterday (Wednesday 13 May 2026) detectives – with assistance of Raptor Squad – executed a search warrant in Whalan.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station, where she was charged with conspire and agree to murder any person and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
She was refused bail to appear at Mt Druitt Local Court today (Thursday 14 May 2026).
Detectives will allege in court the 23-year-old was involved in the coordination of serious organised crimes including shootings, conspiracy to murder, firearm offences and staging vehicles.
