Teen hospitalised after trail bike and motor vehicle collision - Narellan

A teen is in hospital after being hit by a car while riding a trail bike in Narellan today.

Just before 3pm (Sunday 20 October 2019), emergency services attended Narellan Road and Camden Valley Way after reports a teen was hit by a car.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command, NSW Ambulance paramedics and Fire and Rescue NSW attended.

Police were told that the 13-year-old was riding a trail bike when he collided with a small hatchback, causing the trail bike to catch alight.

The boy suffered burns to his body and face, a broken femur and suspected internal injuries. He was treated at the scene before being conveyed to Westmead Hospital.

The driver of the hatchback did not require treatment and is assisting police with inquiries.
