Dubbo Regional Council advises residents that temporary changes to accessibility around the Regand Park North Picnic Area will begin on Tuesday 7 July 2026 and continue for three weeks, weather permitting.
Tamworth Street, between Macquarie and South Streets, will be closed to traffic during this time. Residents can still access the Regand Park North Picnic Area by entering via Bligh Street and travelling along South Street.
During this time further works will also be undertaken around the new toilet block, including the concreting of an existing unsealed pathway.
Pedestrians will be directed along an alternative pathway during this time.
Total completion of the Regand Park North Picnic Area upgrade will occur later this year.
