A temporary water filling station has been set up in Bulahdelah for residents impacted by the bushfires.
The station is located at the south end of Myall Street, Bulahdelah, behind the Showground.
MidCoast Council's Director of Infrastructure and Engineering Services, Rob Scott, said the station was there to help people who may have exhausted their own supply.
"Our water network doesn't extend to many of the impacted properties, so these people were using water from their own dams and tanks to prepare for and fight the blaze," said Mr Scott.
"We want to make sure they can continue to access safe drinking water during this challenging time and I encourage anyone who has been impacted to make use of the station."
Residents can access the water for domestic use or livestock watering, free of charge.
