This month TENA Men has launched a new washable underwear range to help men impacted by light incontinence in the Wear it with Confidence campaign.

Continence concerns are common among Australian men, and especially those who have been treated for prostate cancer.

In Australian, 66 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every day, with more than 240,000 Australian men alive after a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Many of those diagnosed will gone on to have surgery and treatment that results in some form of temporary or long-term incontinence.

To help ensure men are supported and have access to the more solutions - TENA has partnered with Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia to give an exclusive 35% off their new Washable Incontinence Underwear range.

For one week only, from Wednesday September 21 to Tuesday September 27, PCFA friends can get 35% off* the new products using the discount code PCFA at checkout.

Ross Campbell, one of the 3 survivors, who feature in the new Wear if with Confidence campaign, encouraged all men to speak out about incontinence to help normalise the conversation.

"Dealing with a pad and changing it at a pub toilet or a neighbour's house was embarrassing and a bit difficult to deal with. It had an impact on my self-esteem, as men are expected to be strong and able to do things, and suddenly you are like a child and not able to do things in the same way. But we need to talk more about it and to normalise it," he said.

"TENA underwear gives me the confidence to live my life freely. Incontinence is an issue that needs to be dealt with daily and having a discreet way to manage light leaks can give you great confidence to go to sporting events or social events without fear of embarrassment.

"They give me the confidence and freedom to do those kinds of active things in my life, like sailing, because they are discreet and support lots of movement, which is where pads can fall down."

Anne Savage, CEO of Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, said the underwear would transform men's experience of continence issues.

"Continence concerns are common among Australian men, and especially among men who have been treated for prostate cancer," she said.

"With more than 240,000 Australian men alive today after a diagnosis of prostate cancer, we know many Australian men will welcome the arrival of a product that safeguards their self-esteem and their social strength.

"We commend TENA for delivering a product that puts the person at the centre of the product, to solve a health challenge and significantly improve quality of life."
