Malvern Police are investigating following a theft and assault in Malvern last month.
Investigators have been told a man attended a licensed shop at a Wattletree Road shopping complex about 4.15pm on 29 May.
The man selected alcohol and put it in his bag and attempted to leave the store without paying.
As an employee went to speak to the man the staff member was pushed to the floor before the man left the store.
Investigators have released an image of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
