Third man charged over brawl - Potts Point

A third man has been charged as investigations continue into an alleged brawl at a licensed premises in Sydney's east.

Just after midnight on Sunday 19 February 2023, up to 10 men were allegedly involved in a brawl at a nightclub in Bayswater Road in Potts Point.

As a 51-year-old male staff member attempted to disperse the crowd, he was allegedly struck and injured.

Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command were later notified of the incident and commenced an investigation under Strike Force Chamaeleon.

During the course of the investigation, two men, aged 30 and 37, have been arrested and charged. They remain before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries, a 26-year-old man attended Kings Cross Police Station about 11am today (Tuesday 4 April 2023), where he was arrested and charged with affray.

The Vaucluse man was refused bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 5 April 2023).

Investigations are continuing under Strike Force Chamaeleon.
