Three women will face court today after $40,000 worth of prohibited drugs and cash were seized during several search warrants in the state's Central West region yesterday.
In November 2025, Western Region Enforcement Squad commenced Strike Force Lazard to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs into western NSW.
Following extensive inquiries, about 7am yesterday (Thursday 25 June 2026), Western Region Enforcement Squad, with the assistance of Operations Support Group, officers attached to Central West Police District and Chifley Police District, Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team, Digital Forensics Unit, Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit and the Dog Unit executed a search warrant at a home in Blayney.
During a search of the home, police located and seized 121 grams of methylamphetamine with an estimated potential street value of approximately $13,000, an amount of cash, electronic devices, a police long baton, financial documentation and drug ledgers.
At the address, police arrested a 47-year-old woman and took her to Orange Police Station, where she was charged with 10 offences,

About 7am the same day, Western Region Enforcement Squad, with the assistance of Operations Support Group, officers attached to Central West Police District, Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team, Digital Forensics Unit, and Police Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit executed a search warrant at a unit on Burrendong Way, Orange.
During a search of the unit, police seized 13.9 grams of methylamphetamine, approximately $15,700 in cash, a motor vehicle, and several electronic devices.
Two women – aged 58 and 51 – were arrested at the unit and taken to Orange Police Station.
Following further inquiries, about 7.30am the same day, Operations Support Group and Region Enforcement Squad, assisted by officers attached to Chifley Police District, executed a search warrant at another home in Blayney.
During the search, police seized items including a resealable bag containing methamphetamine, two electronic devices and financial documentation.
About 10.30am the same day, Western Region Enforcement Squad and Operations Support Group executed a search warrant at another home in Blayney, where they seized $11,000 cash, and jewellery.
The 58-year-old was charged with 25 offences,
- Supply prohibited drug greater than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity (six counts)
- Supply prohibited drug less than or equal to small quantity (three counts)
- Supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity (three counts)
- Supply prohibited drug greater than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity (three counts)
- Supply prohibited drug greater than small and less than or equal to indictable quantity (two counts)
- Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis
- Supply prohibited drug less than or equal to small quantity
- Supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Knowingly direct activities of criminal group
- Supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to large commercial quantity
- Knowingly deal with proceeds of crime
- Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction
- Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and greater than $5000.
The 51-year-old was charged with five offences,
- Supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity
- Possess prohibited drug
- Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and greater than $5000
- Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
- Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction.
All three were refused bail to face Bail Division Court 4 today (Friday 26 June 2026).
