- Long-running program ranked the best by a government agency in Australia
- Emerging STEM professionals gain real-world experience solving water challenges
Water Corporation's longrunning graduate program continues to set the benchmark for training and development in Western Australia, providing emerging science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals with opportunities to build their careers in the water sector.
Recognised as Australia's top governmentrun graduate course, the program has, for 35 years, equipped hundreds of WA graduates with handson experience and industryleading skills that support longterm career growth within the organisation.
In 2026, a further 30 engineering and data science graduates from across Western Australia will join the program, gaining access to specialised training, mentoring and practical project work that prepares them to contribute to the State's future water needs.
Endorsed by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE), the program received the highest national rating of any governmentrun graduate course in the organisation's most recent rankings and placed sixth overall among mediumsized programs for the second year in a row - underscoring its strength as a development pathway for young professionals.
The program gives graduates the opportunity to help shape solutions to Western Australia's most significant water challenges, applying their skills to realworld issues that affect communities across the State.
Now a nationally recognised twoyear development pathway, the graduate program continues to attract motivated earlycareer STEM professionals eager to learn from industry experts, gain valuable onthejob training and contribute to securing Western Australia's water future.
Applications are now open for the graduate program, commencing in August 2026 and February 2027. Applications close Monday, 6 April 2026 at www.watercorporation.com.au/about-us/careers/career-pathways/graduate-program
