Trespasser Arrested In Adelaide

A man was arrested on a construction site in Adelaide overnight.

Just after 1am on Saturday 25 July, police responded to an alarm activation at a premises under construction on Shannon Place.

Patrols responded and cordoned off the site to commence a search with PD Hector. Officers heard noises inside before locating a suspect on the first floor of the multi-storey building.

The man was found in possession of a backpack that contained a small amount of drugs, as well as bank cards and two sets of car keys that police suspect are stolen.

A 26-year-old man from Adelaide was arrested and charged with being unlawfully on premises, unlawful possession, possess housebreaking implements and possess a controlled drug. He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelade Magistrates Court on Monday.
