Truck leaves Black Forest crash scene, South Australia

Police are looking for the truck involved in a hit-run collision at Black Forest this morning.

Police and emergency services were called to South Road, Black Forest, near the intersection of Cowper Street, about 8.15am on Monday 17 December.

A white Mitsubishi Fuso Pantek truck travelling north in the left lane had collided with the rear of a black Mercedes B180 hatch, causing substantial damage. The truck then crashed into a tree on the footpath and continued without stopping.

The truck was last seen turning left into Cowper Street, travelling east, registration unknown.

Fortunately, the driver of the Mercedes was not injured in the crash.
