As part of the AHA Super Science Summer Club, TUM was right in the thick of a diverse program of science activities and hands-on experiences at the Zamanand Festival in Munich over the weekend, demonstrating just how exciting and accessible research can be. The turnout was impressive: On Sunday alone, over 50,000 people stopped by the booth. Many visitors were inspired by topics related to research, innovation, and TUM-a great shared success!
Astrid Eckert / TUM At the AHA Knowledge Islands, exhibits, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and talks brought science to life for a broad audience. Everyone was invited to try things out, do crafts, and interact with the researchers. TUM's topics ranged from health and sustainability to robotics and space exploration. Short presentations were also part of the program and facilitated direct dialogue with visitors.

The turnout was impressive: On Sunday alone, over 50,000 visitors stopped by the booth. More than 6,000 people engaged in conversation with researchers in the AHA tent. Many were inspired by topics related to research, innovation, and TUM.
Among the highlights that drew particular attention were the TUfast Eco Team's muc 022 race car, the eConversion Cluster's interactive booth featuring a quiz and a ping-pong game, and the cooking demonstrations on gut health.

Astrid Eckert / TUM Successful Groundwork: The Young Academy's StreetScience Format
The AHA Super Science Club builds on the successful StreetScience format developed by TUM's Young Academy . Since 2019, the Young Academy has brought TUM researchers out onto the streets on several occasions-first at the Street-Life Festival, then at the Zamanand Festival.
