Turboed Bachelorette Finale heads to the NT

The Northern Territory was tonight beamed to the rest of the country with the screening of the popular Bachelorette series finale which was filmed in the Top End earlier this year.

This is the first time The Bachelorette Australia franchise has filmed its finale on Australian soil.

Through the Territory Labor Governments record $103 million Turbocharging Tourism stimulus package, as part of co-operative marketing partnership and The Bachelorette finale promotion, Jetstar has released a 48 hour travel deal, which will air during the finale.

From Thursday 15 November to Friday 16 November those residing in Australia are able to book travel to Darwin and then return home for free.*

Bachelorette viewers and Australian holiday hunters can take advantage of this stellar sale and book a bargain priced deal to the Top End for travel from the middle of January to early April, and early May to the end of June 2019.

Minister for Tourism and Culture, Lauren Moss said that both the mass national exposure from the Bachelorette and the co-operative marketing promotion with Jetstar will offer Australians extra incentive to head to the NT.

Previous season finales have been held in Fiji and Singapore.

Throughout her stay in the Top End, Bachelorette Ms Oetjen visited Tjaynera Falls at Litchfield National Park, the Mary River wetlands, Kakadu and viewed the NTs spectacular northern coastlines from above in a helicopter.

As stated by Minister for Tourism and Culture, Lauren Moss

Through the Territory Labor Governments record $103 million Turbocharging Tourism Stimulus package to attract more holiday visitors, create local jobs and put more money into the pockets of Territorians, we are able to partner with Jetstar and The Bachelorette to offer Australians extra incentive to visit the Territory.

Its an exciting opportunity for the Territory to be showcased in its natural beauty live on air to hundreds of thousands around the country. Visitors will be able to bask in our unique national parks, be absorbed in our multicultural city and enjoy a plethora of experiences on offer.

Our Turbocharging Tourism package is driving demand to the Territory with more tourism marketing and developing new attractions and experiences, boosting the economy.

As stated by The Bachelorette, Ms Ali Oetjen

The Territory has always had a special place in my heart and I was excited to return.

We grew up in the country and for all our family holidays it was camping or going four-wheel-driving up to the Territory.
