Tusk -The Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show will make sure there is 'Big Love' for the TRACKS festival in Timboon next month.

It's been 50 years since iconic singer Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac and the tribute show gives the audience a peek into what made Fleetwood Mac one of the greatest bands of all time.

The festival will also feature performances by Not Yet Dead Band, Louie & the Melways and the Bluestone River Band.

South West Ward Councillor Kate Makin invited everyone from the Shire and beyond to come and enjoy the Council-sponsored free event.

"For the first time this year the show event will start with performances by young local artists on the FReeZA Stage from 1—2 pm," Cr Makin said.

"Come along and support some of our up-and-coming talent.

"It will be a great opportunity to catch up with friends for great company and some fantastic entertainment."

Cr Makin said food and drinks would be available.

"Twistto Potatoes will be there and Timboon Action will also provide food and drinks," she said.

"For the grown-ups, Sow & Piglets Brewery, Keayang Maar Vineyard and Timboon Railway Shed Distillery will be at the festival selling their locally made products."

TRACKS will run from 1—6:30 pm at the Railway precinct in Timboon on Saturday 18 March.

For those who want to use public transport, the leaves Camperdown station at 12:48 pm and Cobden post office at 1:08 pm, arriving at Timboon at 1:40 pm.

A return service leaves Timboon at 5:14 pm and heads back to Cobden by 5:50 pm and Camperdown at 6:10 pm.

With an all-star line up and over 10 years of touring Tusk is Australia's leading Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks experience.

All the chart-topping songs including 'Dreams', 'Go Your Own Way', 'Little Lies', 'Gypsy', 'Landslide', 'Rhiannon', 'Edge Of Seventeen', 'Don't Stop' and more.

Bluestone River Band

This five-piece alt/country group from Warrnambool has been quietly amassing an impressive catalogue of original songs that are sure to catch the ears music fans far and wide.

With an album slated for release midway through 2023 Bluestone River Band are melds well-honed harmonies with layered mandolin and fuzz guitar produce intriguing dynamics. Think the results of a studio session by The Band produced by The Black Keys at Abbey Road.

The band's early incarnation as a trio with Cobey Fletcher (mandolin, banjo, guitar and vocals) and Jimmi Buscombe (guitar and vocals) joining chief songwriter and lead singer Joe Gardner quickly gathered momentum as the guys love of vocal harmony drew in bass player and vocalist Derrick Price and drummer Henry Bird. Bluestone River Band will have you spilling your beer as you grab your mates in a teary hug.

Louie and the Melways

Louie & the Melways are a collective of well-known South West musicians performing a broad range of pop, rock, country and blues covers that are a little left of centre.

Led by the powerhouse vocals of Louise Clancey and supported by the musical stylings of Darren Ely (guitar and vocals), Richard Tankard (bass guitar and vocals, and Barry Galbraith (drums), Louie & the Melways are all about spreading musical good vibes and are excited to be back for the 2023 Tracks Festival.

The Not Dead Yet Band

The Not Dead Yet Band plays classic rock from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Timboon residents will recognise local singer and guitarist Lilli van Donk and former local John Currell on guitar.

The band also has Derrinallum drummer Rosie Pemberton and two Nick Coles from Bookaar on guitar/vocals and bass respectively and Warrnambool's Chris Shanley, on keyboards.
