Two AFP officers recognised in Queen's Birthday Honours List

Two Australian Federal Police (AFP) officers will today be awarded an Australian Police Medal following the announcement of the Queen's Birthday Honour List.

Detective Inspector Stephen Douglas Ladd and Senior Constable Mark-Alan Lim will each receive medals in recognition of their outstanding service to the AFP.

AFP Commissioner Reece Kershaw congratulated the two officers and thanked them for their years of dedication to Australian policing.

"Stephen and Mark are exceptionally committed to their work and represent the best of the AFP, both domestically and internationally," Commissioner Kershaw said.

"Throughout his career, Detective Inspector Ladd has consistently upheld the highest commitment to the values of the AFP and to the safety of the Australian Capital Territory community."

"Senior Constable Lim has worked tirelessly to provide distinguished service to national and international law enforcement organisations during his policing career and that effort has not gone unnoticed by our law enforcement partners."
