Two more charged after aggravated home invasion - Thomastown

Gang Crime Squad detectives have arrested two more people this morning as part of their investigation into an alleged aggravated home invasion in Thomastown earlier this year.

A 22-year-old Manor Lakes man and a 22-year-old Truganina man were both arrested at their home addresses this morning.

The Manor Lakes man has been charged with aggravated home invasion, armed robbery, weapons offences and fail to disclose pin code.

The Truganina man has been charged with aggravated home invasion, armed robbery and fail to disclose pin code.

Both will face Melbourne Magistrates' Court this afternoon.

A number of items were also seized from the properties including two machetes and a quantity of drugs.

Today's arrests follow an alleged aggravated home invasion at a property on The Boulevard in Thomastown on 6 January, 2022.

Two residents home at the time were physically uninjured.

Later that day, a man and a woman were arrested and charged by Gang Crime Squad investigators.

A 19-year-old Truganina man was charged with aggravated home invasion, fail to disclose pin code, intentionally cause injury, and two counts of assault police.

A 24-year-old Donnybrook woman was charged with aggravated home invasion, robbery, commit offences whilst on bail and fail to provide pin.

Both were remanded in custody.
