UN conference seeks to build resilience to crises through regional economic cooperation and integration

Ministers from around Asia and the Pacific are set to convene next week in Bangkok to discuss enhancing regional and subregional cooperation for solutions to connectivity, climate and digitalization challenges, made more severe by the COVID-19 pandemic and other crises.

The Third Ministerial Conference on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration in Asia and the Pacific will also examine how trade and investment can support countries' efforts to address shortfalls in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
