Unlawful use of motor vehicle offences, Underwood

Police are appealing to the public for assistance to help locate a number of vehicles that were stolen from an Underwood car dealership yesterday.

Sometime between 2am and 5.30am (Monday July 29), a group of approximately eight people have used a white Holden Colorado to force entry through the Kingston Road dealership's front gate, before cutting a hole in a secondary security gate.

The group has then forced entry to the dealership's main building by kicking a hole in the door, before removing a small safe from the premises which contained multiple sets of car-keys.

The group then used the car-keys to steal 15 vehicles which were parked in the lot (pictured):

3. 2016 white Volkswagen Golf Hatchback 838XGP

4. 2017 Grey Volkswagen Golf Hatchback 029XNN

5. 2014 White Volkswagen Jetta Sedan No Plate

6. 2015 Blue Volkswagen Polo Hatchback 749YTH

7. 2017 Orange Volkswagen Polo 430XWX.

8. 2014 Blue Volkswagen Tiguan Station Wagon 065WJW.

9. 2015 Ford Ranger 282ZBN –

10. 2007 Red Ford Mondeo 942LBI – (LOCATED)

11. 2015 Red Mazda 236VVM – (LOCATED)

12. 2013 Silver BMW ZWA377

13. 2018 Grey Mazda 3 671ZAW

14. 2017 Subaru Impreza (No plate)

15. 2013 Red Holden Colorado (No plate)

The dealership's registration plates "DP290" and "DP856″were also stolen.

It will be alleged that around 6.30pm last night, one of the stolen vehicles - a white 2013 Landrover Range Rover - was located burnt-out on the Warrego Highway at Blacksoil.

Police attended and patrolled the area where they located two men.

A 33-year-old Boronia Heights man and a 24-year-old Bahrs Scrub man have each been charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property.

They are scheduled to appear at the Ipswich Magistrates Court today (July 30).

A 22-year-old Regents Park woman was arrested in Waterford West this afternoon and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, receiving tainted property and possess utensils. She will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Another of the stolen vehicles - a white Volkswagen Golf, bearing the dealership's plates "DP290", was sighted on Monash Road, last seen travelling southbound along Kingston Road, at Loganlea around 7.22pm.

Police urge anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles to come forward.
