Upgrading Narre Warren North Primary School

Liberal Party Victoria

Students, teachers and families at Narre Warren North Primary School are set to benefit under a new commitment announced today by the Liberals and Nationals.

Under the commitment, a Matt Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will provide $960,000 towards outdoor improvements for the school, including a new covered outdoor play and school sports space for students.

Currently, the limited play space comprises is a partially grassed dirt space, which is unsuitable for play in its current state. The ground is uneven, full of potholes and unsafe for students to run across during recess and lunch. Furthermore, this area also becomes extremely wet, muddy, and slippery during the winter months.

Shadow Minister for Education, David Hodgett, said the students at Narre Warren North Primary School deserve fit-for-purpose facilities.

"Only a Liberals and Nationals Government will give our kids the support they need and the excellent facilities they deserve."

Liberal Candidate for Narre Warren North, Timothy Dragan, said upgrading the school would secure its future by ensuring it remains a quality option for families.

"This significant investment will deliver better facilities for current and future students and the Narre Warren North Primary School community," Mr Dragan said.
