Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley, and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke with Ukrainian Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Andrii Yermak today. The leaders condemned Russia's brutal attacks against civilian infrastructure and discussed Ukraine's priorities for security assistance. The leaders pledged to remain in close contact.
