Victorian man arrested over sexual assault, South Australia

A Victorian man will appear in court in Murray Bridge today after being charged with rape.

Pubic Protection Branch detectives yesterday arrested a 42-year-old man after an intensive investigation into the alleged sexual assault of a woman at Para Hills on Thursday 11 March.

The 42-year-old Melbourne man was arrested at Murray Bridge about 2.30pm on Monday 15 March while returning to Victoria.

He was charged with rape, refused police bail and will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 16 March.
