Virtual Reality And Visual Arts Aid Health Care

The School of Nursing and Health Studies is proud to share an article from the University of Miami College of Arts & Sciences outlining a National Institutes of Health grant on which Dr. Greta Mitzova-Vladinov, director of the school's Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia Program, is a co-investigator. Nine students in the school's B.S.N.-to-D.N.P. Nurse Anesthesia Track are participating in the interdisciplinary study, "VITaLS: Visual Thinking and Learning Strategies: Enhancing Health Professions Education through Virtual Reality Enabled Art Museum Experiences," said Dr. Mitzova-Vladinov.
