Vote Now: Golden Lens Photography Contest Public Voting Begins

Public voting is now open for the People's Choice Award in the WA Seniors Card Golden Lens Photography Competition.

Showcasing the photography skills of Western Australian seniors, the 2024 competition received 130 entries from 44 WA Seniors Card members.

The competition has four categories: Active Ageing, Cultural Identity, Blast from the Past, and Wander out Yonder. The competition also includes a People's Choice Award.

Nine shortlisted photos have been uploaded to the WA Seniors Card Facebook and members of the public are encouraged to LIKE their favourite photo.

The photo with the most Facebook LIKES will be the winner of the People's Choice Award.

The Golden Lens competition, now in its third consecutive year, highlights the lives and interests of seniors across the State.

Submissions closed on 17 March 2024 with the judging panel to decide winners from each category, with some great prizes up for grabs from participating business partners.

All winners will be invited to have lunch at Parliament House hosted by the Seniors and Ageing Minister Don Punch.

Selected photos will also be featured in the next edition of the WA Seniors Card Discount Directory, which will be published in the 2024-25 financial year.
