- WA startups have been selected to attend the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology
- The innovators will form a part of Team WA and travel to Singapore for the global conference held on October 29-31
- SWITCH brings together researchers, startups and corporates from more than 130 countries
A delegation of Western Australian startup and scaleup founders will be travelling to the Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH).
The three-day conference takes place between October 29-31 and features a global program promoting innovation across major sectors such as health, climate, advanced manufacturing, digital and deep technology.
The WA delegation includes businesses with goals such as connecting frontline workers to AI assistance, decentralising waste recovery solutions and a new approach to web security which bypasses the need for passwords.
The delegation is supported by West Tech Fest, Curtin University and the WA Government's New Industries Fund.
A team of ten ecosystem supporters will also be attending through sponsorship provided by Meshpoints.
Each founder successfully applied to join the Team WA mission through a competitive selection process run by Curtin University as part of West Tech Fest in partnership with the WA Government through the New Industries Fund.
Attending SWITCH as a part of Team WA will involve curated meetings with Singaporean innovators, founders and investors, exclusive networking events and the opportunity to showcase their local innovations on a global level.
SWITCH will elevate WA's technology and innovation capability and develop strong international partnerships and reach.
