The Western Australia real estate industry's commitment to excellence has been recognised, with four winners honoured at the Real Estate Institute of Australia's (REIA) 2026 National Awards for Excellence (NAFE).
In the agency categories, Jones Realty & Projects was named Residential Sales Team of the Year.
In the individual categories, Vaughan Copping of Perth Property Management was recognised as the Commercial Property Manager of the Year, Ashleigh Goodchild received the Operational Leadership Award; and Hayley Patrick from Jones Realty & Projects earned the Marketer of the Year award.
REIWA President Suzanne Brown said the institute was incredibly proud of the achievements of WA's representatives.
"Compared to the eastern states, WA's real estate industry is relatively small but we continue to make a significant impact on the national stage," she said.
"These awards are highly competitive, and securing four wins across 20 categories, showcases the innovation, leadership and meaningful contributions of members of our industry.
"Our winners are committed to elevating our entire profession. They continually challenge the status quo, embrace continuous learning, implement best practice, and hold themselves to standards that go well beyond compliance.
"They demonstrate that professionalism and success are not competing ideals but intrinsically linked.
"On behalf of REIWA I congratulate our WA winners, as well as all the finalists who represented our state. Your achievements continue to highlight the strength and calibre of WA's real estate industry."
Jones Realty & Projects took home two trophies, with the agency named Residential Sales Team of the Year and team member Hayley Patrick recognised as Marketer of the Year.
"Under the leadership of Steve and Nicole Jones, Jones Realty & Projects has demonstrated outstanding results and depth across every aspect of the business," Ms Brown said.
"This award submission reflects strategic growth, standout client service and a culture that is capable of rising to even the most personal of challenges.
"Over the past year, they introduced new technologies, such as virtual reality, to better support off-the-plan buyers, implemented structured progression plans for team members, and achieved outstanding sales results while navigating adversity with integrity.
"Steve and Nicole's leadership and commitment to excellence are also highlighted by Hayley's awards success.
"She was honoured for leading a campaign that combined targeted research with innovative tools, including virtual reality, to engage buyers.
"The campaign didn't just showcase a project; it sold a vision. The quality and thoroughness of Hayley's work achieved a complete sellout 12 months early, without discounting, and delivered more than $3.5 million above projections."
Ashleigh Goodchild, director of SOCO Realty, received the Operational Leadership Award.
"I've had the privilege of working in the same sector of real estate as Ashleigh for a long time and witness the dedication and passion she brings to our industry," Ms Brown said.
"Her approach to problem-solving, innovation and team support sets a powerful example for others. She leads with empathy, initiative and a clear sense of direction, with a focus on sustainable growth, community impact, and creating a strong internal culture.
"Strong leadership is often most visible when things don't go to plan. Ashleigh demonstrated this through her handling of a particularly complex client situation, offering calm and consistent support to both her team and her long-term client.
"On social media, Ashleigh commented that with this accolade she has reached her pinnacle, but she is a force within our industry, and I think there is more recognition ahead of her."
Perth Property Management's Vaughan Copping earned the title of Commercial Property Manager of the Year for the second consecutive year.
"This is an exceptional result and a real testament to Vaughan's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement," Ms Brown said.
"He is always looking for ways to improve outcomes for his clients, and he certainly gets results, but this award is about more than figures. It reflects how he achieves those results, including his clear commitment to professional development, undertaking additional training, and mentoring others to lift the standard across the sector.
"Vaughan is highly regarded, not just within his agency, but across the broader commercial property space."
