Weaving Workshops Return to Ballina this October

Weaving Circle IV with Jugan Dandii

8 - 9 October 2022

This October master weavers Jugan Dandii return to the Northern Rivers Community Gallery (NRCG) to run the fourth session in their series of Weaving Circles presented by the gallery throughout the year.

In a relaxing group atmosphere, Bundjalung/Nyangbal woman Tania Marlowe, and local weaver Debra Cole, will guide participants to learn weaving techniques, sharing their stories and knowledge. October's workshop will focus on creating random weave baskets with vines and palm inflorescence, alongside tips and techniques for sustainable natural fibre foraging.

Weaving Circle IV is the second-last session in NRCG's 2022 weaving series, with each circle focusing on a different technique. Join this or both circles remaining this year to build your skills and techniques.

Bookings are essential via the NRCG website, attendance on both days are required, and all materials and tools are provided.

To book your place visit the NRCG website at nrcgballina.com.au or phone the Gallery on 6681 0530.
