Welcoming Citrus Sculptures Back to Banna Avenue

As spring is well and truly amongst us, we are excited to kick off Griffith Spring Fest 2023 with the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures set to line Banna Avenue from this weekend.

Griffith Spring Fest is a vibrant and colourful celebration that marks the arrival of spring to our region. As part of the annual festivities, the Real Juice Company Citrus Sculptures are a significant attraction and one of the core elements to such a wonderful event. The sculptures are brought to life with over 100,000 oranges, grown abundantly in the region and kindly donated by the Real Juice Company.

A big thank you goes out to Golden Grove Citrus for the waxing of the oranges and to Campbells Chemicals who have supplied the wax for this year's citrus. These are all imperative steps that occur in the background to make this grand display possible.

As the largest citrus growing region in Australia, The Citrus Sculptures have become an iconic element to the Flagship event. Being the only display of its kind in Australia, this feature attracts over 13,000 attendees over the two-week period.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, over 800 community volunteers will come together to install each of the sculptures by hand. The display is set to be amazing with nine new sculptures being added to this year's collection. You'll have the opportunity to stroll down Banna Avenue and immerse yourself in the splendid exhibition from Sunday 8th - Saturday 21st October 2023.
