Western Plains Cultural Centre draws artists in

The Western Plains Cultural Centre wants everyone to know that everyone can draw!

Everyone from beginners to masters can try their hand at portraiture each Sunday in June at Drawn to the Centre, a series of workshops led by local artists.

Participants will learn a range of techniques inspired by the artists, portraiture style and subjects within this year's touring Archibald Prize 2022 exhibition.

Everyone is invited to join in, with all ages welcome and no experience needed!

Whether you are an accomplished artist, still learning your craft or someone who hasn't drawn since childhood, Drawn to the Centre is the perfect opportunity to discover or renew your enthusiasm for portraiture.

Sessions run every Sunday in June, 12pm to 2pm.

Entry to Drawn to the Centre is included in the price of admission to Archibald Prize Sunday viewings, at no extra cost.

Entry to all Archibald Prize viewings is $12 for General Entry, $10 for ANZ Customers, $6.40 for Concession, while under 16s and Art Gallery of New South Wales Society Members get in free.

The Archibald Prize 2022 is a touring exhibition from the Art Gallery of New South Wales, with presenting partner ANZ.
