Who makes Eurobodalla a better place? Now's your chance to recognise them, with nominations open for the 2026 Local Hero Award.
Mayor Mathew Hatcher said the award recognises the quiet achievers who make a real difference in the lives of others.
"Eurobodalla's strength lies in those who give their time and heart to help others," Mayor Hatcher said.
"The Local Hero Award shines a light on the quiet achievers who inspire us all. These awards let us pause, say thank you, and celebrate the local legends who make Eurobodalla proud."
Established in 2018, the Local Hero Award recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Eurobodalla community through volunteer work, leadership, advocacy or acts of kindness.
Community members are encouraged to nominate someone whose efforts deserve recognition. Nominations are open from Wednesday 1 July until Friday 31 July 2026.
Finalists will be invited to the Mayor's Charity Ball later this year, where the 2026 Local Hero will be announced.
