Will Labor Make a Submission to Economic Recovery Council?

Nic Street,Liberal Member for Franklin

The Premier's Economic and Social Recovery Advisory Council has hit the ground running, and its important work is already underway.

Instead of providing bipartisan support, Labor whinged about the Council's membership.

Now that the Greens have shown the way, the question Labor Leader Rebecca White needs to answer is: instead of just whingeing, will you make a detailed submission to the Council's recovery process?

Or will Ms White be handballing that task to leader-in-waiting David O'Byrne, who seems to be taking all the tough jobs these days.

Last year, Mr O'Byrne indicated Labor was "open to a review of State Taxation" - and we know that's code for higher taxes.

Tasmanians deserve to know now whether Labor has a Secret Tax Plan in store for them.
