Woman Charged for DV, Bail Breach in Moree

A woman has been charged over alleged DV and breach of bail offences with the assistance of a PolAir Remote drone in Moree over the weekend.

Officers attached to New England Police District were called to a home on Boston Street, Moree, about 4.50pm on Sunday 2 August 2026, following reports of a concern for welfare.

Police attended; no one was present at the home.

Following inquiries and with the assistance of a PolAir Remote drone, police became aware of a woman leaving a shed on the property and entering the home.

Shortly after, police arrested a 28-year-old woman inside the home.

She was taken to Moree Police Station where she was charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic) and breach of bail.

The woman was refused bail and appeared before Bail Division Court 5 yesterday (Monday 3 August 2026), where she was formally refused bail to reappear before Moree Local Court on Monday 24 August 2026.
