Woman seriously injured in Braybrook collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a serious collision which occurred in Braybrook this afternoon.

Investigators have been told a woman pushing a pram and with two children was crossing Ballarat Road near Duke Street about 3.40pm.

As she was crossing she was hit by an westbound car.

She has been taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries while the two children were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is currently assisting police with their enquires.

Ballarat Road will soon be shut to traffic in both directions so detectives can continue their investigation.
