Work on the roundabout at Wingham's Primrose and Isabella Street intersection is back underway. Construction has been paused last week when a potential contamination was identified within the site forcing work to cease.
Specialist testing determined no contaminants were found, and workers have since restarted work.
The reconstruction of the roundabout includes relocating water pipes, upgrading drainage and rebuilding the road, kerbs and footpath.
U-turn bays are in operation for vehicle access during construction, and driveway access to businesses in the immediate area will remain open during the project.
