Perth Detectives have charged three men following an investigation into an incident in Northbridge today, Saturday 30 December 2023.
Just before 3:30am, police on patrol responded to a disturbance at the corner of Lake and James Streets.
The incident involved a group of people who at this time are believed to be known to each other.
As a result of the incident, a 22-year-old man was left with several injuries consistent with stab wounds and lacerations.
Several knives were seized as part of the investigation.
Following inquiries, three men – one aged 24 and two aged 25 – were charged with;
• With intent to cause grievous bodily harm or prevent arrest wounded or caused grievous bodily harm.
All three are due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Sunday 31 December 2023.
The investigation into other people involved in the incident is ongoing.
