Yamba Library & Community Centre: Spaces for All

The state-of-the-art Yamba Library and Community Centre is once again a community hub since opening three months ago, offering residents, groups and local businesses modern, accessible spaces to connect, create and celebrate.

With 13 spaces available for hire, the multi-purpose facility includes large halls, meeting rooms, offices, creative studios, gallery space, youth facilities and a kitchen – catering to everything from meetings and workshops to exhibitions, training and private events.

"The Yamba Library and Community Centre is here to support local groups by providing accessible, well-equipped spaces for every occasion," Clarence Valley Council's General Manager, Laura Black, said.

"We have large halls for classes, performances or private events, meeting rooms ideal for small group activities, a vibrant exhibition space, a safe and dynamic youth space, private offices and a small kitchen available.

"Whether it's a small meeting, a large workshop, or a community celebration, our rooms are designed to be flexible and welcoming for everyone."

The Hall (Rooms 1–3), located adjacent to the kitchen, is proving particularly popular for events that require adaptable layouts and catering facilities. The hall can be booked as one large open area or divided into smaller rooms to suit the occasion, making it ideal for community events, training days, classes or private functions.

The centre's facilities include air-conditioning, audio-visual equipment, digital display screens, Wi-Fi, hearing loop, projector, baby change area, tables and chairs, and wheelchair access, allowing groups to focus on their events while enjoying modern amenities.

Located at 24 Treelands Drive, Yamba, the centre is open for hire Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm and Sundays and public holidays from 8am to 7.30pm. (No amplified music is permitted after 5.30pm; limited late openings may be approved.)
