Young people invited to share Covid pandemic impacts

The City of Greater Geelong is inviting the region's young people to help it better understand the ongoing impacts that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on their health and wellbeing.

A research project entitled The Covid-19 Youth Impact Report has been undertaken by our Youth Development Unit and is drawing on input from young people across Greater Geelong.

Our Youth Development Unit is hoping to learn how to better support young people in the region by combining a review of current literature with the results of an online survey.

Young people can part in the survey now.

The engagement closes on 17 February 2023.

Mayor Trent Sullivan

The region's youth were among the groups most affected by the impact of the pandemic, and it is important that they are supported in the best way possible.

I encourage young people to complete the survey so as to help us understand the impacts that the Covid-19 pandemic is having, and has had, on their lives.

The information will be very useful in influencing future programs aimed at addressing these impacts.
