Council approved 11 applications for funding totalling $19,500 under Round Two of the 2024/25 Council Community Strengthening Grants Scheme as recommended by the Community Grant Funding Committee.

$1,500 for purchase of laptop and sporting equipment to utilise for the "Planting the Seed" youth planning and events. |
Rotary Club of Leeton Inc. | $2,000 to go towards purchasing new replacement materials for Rotunda in Rotary Park for landscaping and seats. |
Leeton Rainbow Pride Collective Inc. | $2,000 to cover costs for Zana Aerial to perform trapeze and roving entertainment at the Leeton Pride Fairday. |
Creative Connection Riverina Association Inc. | $2,000 to obtain items and hire rehearsal space for the "Ties that Bind" project at Roxy Theatre. |
Kurrajong | $1,000 to go towards Roxy Theatre hire expenses for inclusive performance in the Roxy Theatre Leeton Relaunch. |
"The community groups that put in for this Round of grant funding have brought forward some great initiatives that are certain to have a positive ripple effect through our tight-knit community, promoting pool safety, live entertainment, recreation, inclusivity and administrative efficiencies," said Councillor and Community Grant Funding Committee member Sandra Nardi.
