ADELAIDE BOAT SHOW EXHIBITORS RANGE FROM BOTH PRIVATE AND GOVERNMENT SECTORS.
Further cementing the reputation of South Australia’s most comprehensive boating show, exhibitors at the upcoming Adelaide Boat Show include leaders in their field, from both the government and the private sector. With the show now less than a month away, visitors can expect world-class presentations from boat dealers, fishing tackle suppliers and regulatory authorities covering all aspects of recreational boating in South Australia.
For South Coast Marine, their focus at the show is towards what they regard as one of the industry’s fastest-growing brands, the SURTEES range of boats. "Surtees continually strives to improve their product and have modified their transoms to meet strict new CE Certification rules," said Andrew Crawford, South Coast Marine’s Sales Manager. "It’s great to see how the transoms have been modified to increase the fuel capacity on most of the models." The modification has also created a completely dry battery compartment, away from the fuel lines and fuel separator. "We are keen to continue to give the people of Adelaide and SA an alternative, and will reiterate at the show our offer of a free pickup and drop off service at various points across Adelaide, to facilitate authorised servicing of Yamaha Outboards," Andrew added.
You can even sit your boating licence exam at the show, with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure SA giving presentations about boating rules, and discussing the required safety equipment for boats, including lifejacket regulations. Primary Industries and Regions SA offer fishing information to bring you up to date on size, bag, and boat limits, closures and aquatic reserves, rock lobster pot registration and protected species. Also at the show, visit the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Association, SA Sea Rescue and SA Marine Parks, where you can learn about the great work they do keeping our waterways sustainable, safe, and how you can help support their services.
A show favourite, Tacklebusters return to the Adelaide Boat Show with superb deals on all their rod, reel and tackle gear. Rows and rows of fishing equipment, accessories and gadgets will satisfy the fussiest of anglers, and thrill those who love finding all their fishing bits and pieces in the one place. Known for some of the best prices around, Tacklebusters always draws a crowd and certainly live-up to their name.
All entry tickets to the show are $10, with children 16 years of age and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult. The popular fishing clinics are included with entry, as are the bumper boat rides for kids on the indoor 16-metre pond. The show is open from the 15th to the 17th of June at the Adelaide Showground. Up to date details regarding the show are available at www.adelaideboatshow.com.au.
