Bibra Lake – April 25, 2025 – Today, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Perth proudly joined our fellow Australians in commemorating ANZAC Day by laying a wreath and marching in the parade at RSL Hamilton Hill, honouring the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served our nation.
This solemn occasion is a tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for Australia presenting us with an opportunity to reflect and reaffirm of our commitment to peace, unity, and justice. Mr Mirza Yasser Ahmad, external affairs secretary of the community noted:
"As proud Australian citizens, we renew our pledge to this great country, striving harder than before to ensure fairness support for the less privileged—not only in Australia but across the world."
Mr. Anjum Qaisrani, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Perth, reflected on the significance of this day:
"ANZAC Day is a time to honour courage, sacrifice, and service. Today, as we march, we remember those who gave their everything for our freedoms. We also stand in solidarity with the values that make Australia a beacon of justice and inclusivity, working tirelessly to uplift those in need."
