Alice Springs Secondary Alcohol Supply Charges Laid

Northern Territory Police have charged a 37-year-old male and 30-year-old female with alcohol and drug offences in Alice Springs yesterday.

Members from Operation Drina, the Alcohol Policing Unit and Community Safety & Social Order Team conducted a search warrant on a residential premises and located a large quantity of alcohol, cash, prohibited drugs and drug paraphernalia.

The male was charged with unauthorised sale of liquor, supply schedule 2 dangerous drug - traffickable quantity and possess thing to administer drug and will appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 25 May 2023.

The female was charged with supply schedule 2 dangerous drug - traffickable quantity and will appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 6 July 2023.

Acting Superintendent Brennan said, "Northern Territory Police continue to target people who unlawfully sell alcohol and prohibited drugs in our community.

"Our members are dedicated to reducing the negative impacts these substances have, and this result is a reflection of their hard work."
