Appeal after peep and pry - Town Hall Railway Station

Investigators are appealing for assistance following an alleged peep and pry at Town Hall Railway Station earlier this year.

Police have been told about 9.10pm on Sunday 20 September 2020, a 25-year-old man was using a toilet at Town Hall Railway Station when an unknown male allegedly leaned over the top of a cubicle and took a photograph of him with a mobile phone.

The 25-year-old confronted the man before he alerted security staff at the station, who contacted officers at Sydney City Police Area Command.

A search of the station was conducted but the man was not located.

Following inquiries, police have now released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, of large build, with short black hair.

The man is depicted in the images wearing a black long sleeve jacket, white t-shirt, light grey shorts and white shoes.

Inquiries are ongoing.
