Driver Dies After Two Vehicle Crash - Glenmore

A driver has died following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's south west yesterday.

About 10pm yesterday (Saturday 12 September 2026), emergency services were called to Burragorang Road, near Monks Lane, Glenmore, following reports a blue sedan and a white utility had collided head on.

The driver and sole occupant of the sedan - a man believed to be in his 70s - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived.

He is yet to be formally identified.

The other driver - a man in his 50s - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for further treatment and mandatory testing.

His two passengers were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the same hospital in a serious condition.

A crime scene has been established and officers attached to Camden Police Area Command, with the assistance of Crash Investigation Unit, have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As Burragorang Road, between Monks Lane and Moores Way, is closed, police urge road users to avoid the area at this time.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
