Apple Al Maryah Island now open in Abu Dhabi

Apple Al Maryah Island opened this Friday, February 25, a new retail destination elevated above steps of cascading water. Serving as Apple's newest store in the United Arab Emirates, the space delivers the best of Apple with shoreline views amid Abu Dhabi's prestigious financial district.

To celebrate the grand opening, the store will debut three unique Today at Apple sessions that draw inspiration from the beautiful surroundings and creative culture of Abu Dhabi. Participants can register for all sessions at apple.co/creativity-within.

From the promenade outside, two ramps paved with Absolute Black granite stone cut through the cascading water and guide customers seamlessly into the store.

The unique ceiling of stretched gold fabric reflects light from the waterfront throughout the space.

The new store's multicultural team of more than 80 members represent 28 nationalities and collectively speak over 30 languages, including Arabic, French, Hindi, Tagalog, and more, and is ready to help the local community.

Guests entering through The Galleria Al Maryah Island walk through a mirrored tunnel, below a 72-foot-long foil ceiling reflecting cascading water creating a kaleidoscope effect.
